Niamh Eastwood is a non-practising barrister and Executive Director of Release, a charity which provides free non-judgmental, specialist advice, and information to the public and professionals on issues related to drug use and to drug laws. She was interviewed by Dr Sally Marlow in 2018 for the Women in Addiction project. Niamh talks about her early fascination with law being used as a tool for social change, aligning career choices with personal principles, and women taking leading roles in calling for drug policy reforms.
